Loner is a combination of some of our best genetics in one buck. We really had no intention of keeping a home bred buck, but he sort of grew on us and the more we thought about it, the more excited we were about using him to line breed on Sunshine and Splash. We have not regretted that decision as his offspring have been gorgeous and milk well. We sent him to a couple of other herds for a few years and we were so excited to have him back!

Traveller was a huge, heavily Six M Galaxy bred buck, long in the body, tall and balanced. As one dear friend pointed out, “He’s so unique in color you don’t expect to see a quality body underneath, but man is he square, with a nice point of brisket, beautiful topline, shoulders and neck, good legs, nice bone! And he comes from milk! Wow!” Traveller’s pedigree is chock full of Top Ten and Elite Does and Sires from top to bottom.

Linn Farm's General Zebulon is the grandson of two time Top Ten doe, Ronco Farm Windy Ebony and Veteran's Tia's Traveller, whose dam also made the Top Ten multiple times. His maternal grandparents are half siblings sired by Bulletcreek Boquet who was the result of an AI breeding using a buck born in 1982, GCH Nestucca Bracken's Bo-K ++*B. Zeb is a nice blend of current and old fashioned milky lines and he was selected specifically to line breed on Ronco Farm Windy Ebony.

Rocky was an udder fixer that didn’t negatively impact milk production. We really liked being able to double up on some of the ancestors that contributed to the excellent conformation and high milk production in our foundation doe, Sunshine, as well.
